Welcome to our 2022/23 soccer season! We are excited to welcome back many players, coaches and families and are excited to welcome many new ones as well. While we are looking forward to a great year we have some news to share. Our club President Darren Campbell is passing the torch to long-time coach, parent and board member Mark Czekaj!
Darren has been leading the club since 2019 and has been involved with the club for about 20 years. From parent, to coach to board member then finally our President he has elected to pass on his responsibilities as president.
Mark has been both head coach and assistant coach over the years, and has been our Travel Coordinator the past 2 seasons. He has a great demeanor, business sense, and the right sense of humor to be an outstanding President. We expect a very smooth transition this year.
We have a strong group of caring, dedicated coaches that mostly put the players development before winning especially at our younger levels. We are very proud of the foundation the leaders in the past, such as Jim Slowey, Jim Rhodes, and Mike Finnerty laid for us. We are truly excited to continue to grow the legacy of the Lockport Soccer Club with Mark holding the reigns.
We want to thank Darren for everything he has done for the club and we are very excited to welcome Mark as our new club President. This is going to be a FANTASTIC year!!
